...and FINALLY
The practical methods outlined here are well within the capacity of
everyone. As a healer, I do all that I can to encourage my clients to
meditate and achieve self healing. In appropriate cases I will recomend
that they discuss, with their doctor, the possibilty of seeking the
assistance of a qualified herbalist. Simple, effective advice is also
available from a good health food shop.
More & more people are 'suffering' stress and its related
illnesses. There are now more people taking time off of work as a
result of stress than for any other reason (back problems had been the
main cause of absenteism for decades). Stress needn't be so prolific.
If people were to give themselves just twenty minutes each day ...for
themselves ...they could easily eliminate any tension that had built up
through the day. Today it is easy to feel that we are all caught up in
some kind of race, and are, perhaps, made to feel guilty if we don't
try to 'keep up' ...but, ultimately, there are no real prizes to be
gained by coming first ...the finishing line may well be your own epitaph! Remember there were two sloths on the
Ark as well as two
cheetahs. (...is sloth a bad thing?)
...the person you overtook (because they were 'annoying'
you) is now just behind you at a set of traffic lights ..because you
got there just as they changed to red (!)
...the shop may
have JUST closed, but you CAN survive
until the morning without milk. Why did you forget the milk in the
first place? Let me guess ...you were stressed?(!)
Meditate ...as with most things, meditation becomes easier and more
benificial the more you practice it.
You could be sat watching tv and mentally drift off ...don't you do
that anyway when you sit thinking about your problems? ...drift off.
You can turn this around to your benefit; instead of thinking about
your problems (negatively) meditate on them with the intention of being
positive, and you will so easily find solutions to them ...it really is
that simple.
